Within the framework of the Organization of the Eleventh South American Games "Cocha 2018", the Ministry of sports and the military Naval School held a meeting for information and coordination to delineate the work to be carried out jointly. The meeting with the head of the Sports Minister, Tito Montaño, and captain of the ship and new Director of the Escuela Naval Militar, Javier Torrico; It was of great importance to the coordination of some aspects concerning to water sports, which will require the support of the military institution. "In the naval school was changed to the director, who came to show their willingness and at the same time its commitment to work for the good of the games, every time that the military Naval school will be an important part for the execution of water sports", said the Minister after the meeting. 
Kicking of this new management for the military Naval school, Torrico said that the necessary support was provided to Codesur for optimal development of nautical sports. "The Minister called for forming committees to work together, told us that they will require the support of the Navy in the Organization of sports." These disciplines are rowing, water skiing, open water, among others. which will take place in 2 main rooms: the Corani and La Angostura dams. "We are attentive to the needs and requirements that have the institution to support with the technical staff we have," he added. 
This is gives continuity to the efforts undertaken in past dates and so progress in the work of the water sports to the games.
